1. Introduction Welcome to ByaajBook. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a secure user experience.
2. 100% Offline Data Storage ByaajBook functions entirely as an offline digital ledger. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any of your personal or financial data on our servers or third-party cloud services. All information entered (names, transactions, collateral images, and PDFs) is stored strictly locally on your device's internal storage.
3. Device Permissions To provide full functionality, the App requests the following permissions:
Camera & Storage: Required only to capture/select images of collateral items (Girvi/Bandhak) and to save generated PDF ledgers to your device.
Contacts (Optional): Used strictly if you choose to import a contact's phone number directly to speed up entry.
4. Data Sharing & Security Since your data never leaves your device, we do not share or sell your information to third parties. Any data sharing (such as sending a PDF voucher via WhatsApp) is entirely initiated and controlled by you. We recommend securing your device with a PIN or biometric lock for local safety.
5. Data Deletion Uninstalling the App or clearing its data from device settings will permanently delete all your offline records.
